The Church Of Positive Energy
Words Of Wisdom

What we need to do as individuals is develop a respect for positive energy and the good it can do for our self worth. Dealing with modern day society takes a half way square mind and capability to process thought. You also need to have the daily strength to deal with the heavy load society places on each and every one of us. Modern day society is here, its now. Its pressures and complexity's exist every day of our lives and its relentless. What we must do to grow in a positive manor is to simply apply enough positive energy into our daily lives to balance the negative to a level that we personally can live as happy individuals. Its when you live happy as an individual that you can bring happiness into other peoples lives. Its when you bring happiness into other peoples lives that you see it and grow in self worth. Without this level of energy we appear to others as empty shells. Once a person is at a negative level of energy others start to see all our actions as negative uses of energy. They don't necessarily recognize it as such but the reaction results in a drain on their self worth from exposure to the negative energy. Its how our energy reacts with others that makes us who we are.

When someone makes the statement so and so is a great person its because the person they are referring to has done something positive that impacted their life. It might have been something as small as simply remembering their name smiling and saying hi every morning. But that other person took time to share a little positive energy with another. Our animal companions respond the same way. Its generally referred to as positive conditioning and its needed in every living things life to introduce order and discipline. For without discipline in our lives we cant maintain balance to handle or channel energy in any manor.

The seat of human intelligence is the brain the human brain is a veritable beehive of activity - sifting through vast amounts of data every waking moment. The bulk of of the activity is just computational - converting the data to information, sifting through it rejecting what is unnecessary, responding to what is important. But all this work is essentially algorithmic. Algorithms are deterministic by their very nature, thereby implying that the brain is essentially algorithmic and all its activity can be accounted for thus. That is, the brain is just an immense machine that executes some huge algorithm. Algorithms can account for speech, pattern recognition, vocalization, reflexes and repetitive motor activity.

Computationally the brain out-performs any neural network by several orders of magnitude. But it is inconceivable how algorithmic activity could explain solution by insight- the so-called ‘Aha’ experience. All of us have experienced these at one time or another. These essentially bypass all algorithmic activity and present us with a solution straight away. An interesting feature of these experiences is that there is near complete surety about the solution when it comes. One knows that it is right even before verification. In fact the verification has a feeling of redundancy about it.

We are thus inevitably led to the solution that the explanation to intelligence lies elsewhere. There must be a non-algorithmic pseudo-random aspect of intelligence. Pseudo-random in the fashion that we can direct our thoughts but not control them or predict them. An important point is that the brain esoteric as it might seem, is well and truly a part of this world and must obey the laws of physics just as surely as rolling balls and moving blocks. It is worthwhile to consider whether the present framework of physics can give rise to a theory of intelligence and free will.
